I’m supposed to close on a new home (inspected, all is ok) that was built in 2006. The house was purchased by an LLC (I assume on the courthouse steps) and they are sellling it to me. We’re supposed to close on Friday and their attorney has yet to furnish a title. If this delays the closing, can I walk? A similar unoccupied house is for sale across the street and I wouldn’t have the same seller or attorneys. I’m not emotionally attached to the house.
